Bryn Athyn finishes sixth in overall 2018-19 CSAC President’s Cup standings

ROSEMONT, Pa. – In its first year in the Colonial States Athletic Conference (CSAC), Bryn Athyn College finished sixth in the 2018-19 CSAC President's Cup Overall Standings. The conference office released the final standings Monday.

Bryn Athyn had nine teams participate in CSAC championship events during the 2018-19 season and earned 50.873 percent of its available points.

Led by men's tennis' run to the CSAC Tournament final, the Bryn Athyn was fifth in the men's standings by earning 48.214 percent of its points. Men's cross country and men's golf came in fourth place in their respective CSAC Championship events. Men's lacrosse reached the semifinal round of the CSAC Tournament.

The Bryn Athyn women came in sixth in their President's Cup standings with 53.152 percent of its available points. Women's cross country recorded a third-place finish in the CSAC Championship. Women's volleyball, women's lacrosse, and women's tennis were all CSAC Tournament semifinalists, while women's soccer made the first round of the CSAC Tournament.

Cairn University won the overall and men's President's Cup with 75.848 percent and 83.809 percent, respectively, of its possible points. The women's President's Cup went to Keystone College who earned 74.409 percent of its available points.

Institutional scores for the President's Cup are calculated using a graduated point system, with each participating institution earning a pro-rated share, based on conference finish. The competitive percentage rating is determined by dividing the total number of points earned by an institution by its total possible points.
