Men's Ice Hockey Falls to Bloomsburg in DVCHC Action

Bryn Athyn, Pa.- The Bryn Athyn College men's ice hockey dropped their first home conference game 7-2 to the Bloomsburg Huskies.

Jordan Roth led the Lions with a goal and assist. Nick Tate notched a goal. Matthew Sertic had one assist.

With a Bryn Athyn player in the box for interference, Bloomsburg got on the board first at the 12:29 mark.  Nick Tate tied the game up at the 5:31 mark, with a power play goal, off a pass from Jordan Roth. Three minutes later, Bloomsburg took the lead again. With 40 seconds left in the first period, Bryn Athyn answered, when Sertic connected with Roth, who skated through traffic and found the back of the net.

Following the first period, Bloomsburg came out strong, scoring an additional 5 goals, to defeat Bryn Athyn 7-2.

Steve Cappas recorded 30 saves in goal, while Matthew Bartalini recorded 13.

Lions head on the road to face Bloomburg tomorrow at 4:15pm.
