Field Hockey blanked by Keystone, 6-0

BRYN ATHYN, Pa. – Keystone junior midfielder Savannah Robinson scored three goals and assisted on three others as the Giants (12-4, 7-0 Colonial States Athletic Conference) defeated Bryn Athyn (2-10, 1-6 Colonial States Athletic Conference) 6-0 in a field hockey matchup on Saturday.

Robinson scored twice in the first half and had a hand in each of the first four goals as the Giants clinched the top spot in the upcoming CSAC playoffs.

For Bryn Athyn, junior goalkeeper Shelly Drucker (Lindenhurst, N.Y./Lindenhurst) made seven saves in the first 50 minutes while freshman goalkeeper Kailey Brower (Baldwin, N.Y./Baldwin) made four saves in the final 20 minutes of the contest.

The Lions also got a game-high three defensive saves from junior defender Erin Gibson (Philadelphia, Pa./Archbishop Wood).

Before the game, Bryn Athyn honored its two seniors, Anja Weisser (McKees Rocks, Pa./Sto-Rox) and Jess Philipp (Collingswood, N.J./Collingswood). 

The Lions will travel to Notre Dame of Maryland University on Wednesday, before closing the season on Saturday afternoon against Delaware Valley University.
