Lions fall to Notre Dame (Md.) in CSAC finale

BALTIMORE, Md. – The Bryn Athyn College field hockey team concluded its Colonial States Athletic Conference (CSAC) slate with a 2-0 setback to the College of Notre Dame (Md.) Wednesday afternoon.

Kailey Brower played well in goal for the Lions (2-11, 1-7 CSAC) despite the loss with an eight-save performance. Payton Boler attempted Bryn Athyn's only shot on goal.

Notre Dame (4-10, 1-7 CSAC) opened the scoring at 13:46 when Michaela Seay poked home a rebound after a long Gator shot. Megan Morales scored on another rebound at 57:42 to produce the Gators' second goal.

Fallon Katz made one save in the Notre Dame to record the shutout.

Bryn Athyn returns to General Ronald K. Nelson Field on Saturday, Oct. 27 to close out the 2018 season against Delaware Valley College at 1 p.m.
