Men's golf competes in the Ursinus Spring Invitational
ELVERSON, Pa. -- In its final tune-up before the North Eastern Athletic Conference (NEAC) Championship, the Bryn Athyn College men's golf team came in 15th place in the Ursinus Spring Invitational Tuesday afternoon at the par-70 Stonewall North Golf Club.
The Lions had a team score of 393 (+113) at the end of the competition.
Tim Browne was Bryn Athyn's top golfer on Tuesday as he posted the team's lowest score of 89 (+19) to come in a tie for 59th place. Julion Lever and Cody Smith ended the day in a deadlock for the 72nd position with scorecards of 97 (+27). Kenny Miller was the final Lion to factor into the team scoring with the 78th-place score of 110 (+40).
Connor Devereux completed Bryn Athyn's lineup by finishing his round with a score of 122 (+58) to come home 80th.
Gettysburg's Danny Harcourt was the individual champion with the winning score of 74 (+4). The team title went to Penn State Berks as the Nittany Lions posted a score of 310 (+30).
Bryn Athyn will return to action on April 28-29 with the two-day NEAC Championship at the Williamsport Country Club in Williamsport, Pa.
