Men's golf in eighth after first day of NEAC Championship

WILLIAMSPORT, Pa. – The Bryn Athyn College men's golf team sits in eighth place after the first day of action on the North Eastern Athletic Conference (NEAC) Championship Saturday at the par-71 Williamsport Country Club.

The Lions have a team score of 393 (+109) at the end of the opening round.

Tim Browne is Bryn Athyn's leader in the clubhouse as he turned in a scorecard of 94 (+23) to be in 32nd place. Cody Smith is one shot back of Browne with a 95 (+24) and is deadlocked for the 33rd position.

Julion Lever shot a 101 (+30) and is in 37th overall. Connor Devereux rounds out the Lions' lineup after finishing his round with the 38th-place score of 103 (+32).

Penn State Berks, led by individual leader Andrew Cornish and his score of 70 (-1), is in front of the team competition with a score of 309 (+25). Rutgers-Camden is two shot back in second place with a 311 (+27), while host Penn College sits third with a score of 316 (+32).

The NEAC Tournament will conclude on Sunday, April 29.
