Lions sit in 18th after day one of the Rosemont Raven Invitational

DOWNINGTOWN, Pa. – The Bryn Athyn College men's golf team is 18th after the first day of action in the Rosemont Raven Invitational host by Rosemont College at the Downingtown Country Club on Saturday.

Cody Smith pared 10 of the 18 holes during his round to end the day as the Lions' top golfer with a score of 88 (+16) and currently sits in a three-way tie for 78th place.

Tim Browne, Devon Becker, and Isaac Anderson all finished within one stroke of each other. Browne had round of 96 (+34) to lead the group in 93rd place. Becker is one shot being Browne as he sits in the 94th position after a round of 97 (+35). Anderson is 95th overall after carding a 98 (+36). Anderson turned in the Lions' only two birdies of the day by shooting a 4 on the 498-yard, par-5 eighth hole and a 4 on the 531-yard, par-5 16th hole.

Led by Danny Harcourt's round of 69 (-3), Gettysburg leads the team competition with a team score of 296 (+8).  

The Lions will wrap up the two-day competition on Sunday, April 14. Anderson will be the Lions' first golfer on the course at 10:12 a.m.
