Men's Lacrosse Falls to Eastern at Home

Bryn Athyn, Pa. – The Bryn Athyn College men's lacrosse team fell to Eastern University 22-1 in Saturday afternoon action.

Cade Gurney led the Lions with their only goal. Tavis McCurdy had five shots on net and picked up five ground balls. Dana Ayers had four shots and one on net.

Eastern scored the first 18 goals before Bryn Athyn got on the board. With traffic around the crease, Gurney found space and scored to put the Lions on the board in the fourth period.

James Lindrooth led the defense with picking up five ground balls. Both Matt Bartalini and Nelson Lopez saw time in goal for Bryn Athyn.

The Lions head to Randolph College, of the Old Dominion Athletic Conference, next Wednesday afternoon at 4:30 pm. The Wildcats are currently 2-5 for the season, and second to last in their conference. They are led by Junior Colton Wood, who has scored 18 goals in seven games. Their Freshman goalie, Cam Davis has played all seven of their games so far and has a .55% save percentage.
