Men's Lacrosse Falls to Visting Arcadia

Arcadia came out strong in the first quarter, scoring three goals. The Knights kept on the offense and scored four goals in the second quarter.

Terrence Johnson and Graham Lermitte led the Lions with three shots on net and one goal a peiece. Cade Gurney notched a goal and one shot on goal.

During the third quarter, the Lions got on the board at the 12:11 mark when Lindrooth took the ball up the right wing, and passed to Lermitte on the left side for the goal.  Before the third quarter was over, the Knights scored two goals to build their lead.

Two minutes into the fourth period, Arcadia scored. The Lions would score their second goal with eight minutes left in the game when Gurney took the ball from the right wing and scored. 20 seconds later, the Knights scored to keep the pressure on the Lions. Bryn Athyn's Johnson scored with seven left in the fourth. Before the game was over, the Knights scored two more goals to secure their win.

Robert Moran started in goal for the Lions and made 15 saves. Nelson Lopez played between the pipes in the second half and made 11 saves.

James Lindrooth led the defense by picking up five grounded balls. Dylan Roscioli and Nick Fetko picked up three grounded balls a piece. 

The Lions return the field next Monday to host Mt. St. Marys. Game is set for 4:30 pm.
