Men's Lacrosse Falls on the Road 10-5 to Mt. St. Marry (N.Y.)

PATCHOGUE, N.Y- Michael Donnelly led the way with 3 goals.  Luke Frazier contributed 1 goal and 1 assist.  Travis McCurdy notched 1 goal.

The first quarter saw the Lions and Mt. St. Mary's trade 2 goals each. Frazier got the lions on the board with his lone goal of the game, then Donnelly scored his first of the game.  The second quarter started out much the same way with each team trading another pair of goals. McCurdy scored his lone goal of the game in the second quarter and Donnelly scored his second goal of the game as well.  Unfortunately, in the last two minutes of the half, Mt. St. Mary's scored two quick goals to lead 6-4 going into halftime.

Mt. St. Mary's would open up the half scoring two goals before Donnelly notched his third goal of the game, assisted by Frazier.  8-5 was as close as the lions would get for the rest of the game, Mt. St. Mary's put home one more goal in the third quarter and one goal in the fourth quarter to end the game.

Robert Moran stood tall between the pipes for Bryn Athyn making 15 saves.

The Lions return to action Tuesday, April 22nd at home against Rosemont.
