ROSEMONT, Pa. – Bryn Athyn College senior midfielder Cameron Leech was named as the Colonial States Athletic Conference (CSAC) men's lacrosse player of the week by the conference office Monday.
A now two-time CSAC player of the week this season, Leech topped the Lions with 12 points (five goals, seven assists), 12 ground balls, and 7 caused turnovers in a 1-1 week. In Bryn Athyn's 16-9 win at Rosemont on April 17, Leech accumulated four goals, three assists, eight ground balls, and four caused turnovers. Leech had one goal, four assists, four ground balls, and three caused turnovers during a 22-8 setback to Stockton on April 20. He became Bryn Athyn's all-time assist leader in the Stockton match.
Leech—who was previously named the conference player of the week on March 11—is ranked third in the CSAC with 2.33 assists per game and 4.50 points per game and 10th with 1.08 caused turnovers per game. He is 30th in Division III in assists per game.
In less than two full seasons at Bryn Athyn, Leech owns the program record for all-time assists (88), assists in a season (60 in 2018), and points in a season (98 in 2018). He is third in career points at Bryn Athyn (152) and fifth in career goals (64).
Bryn Athyn ended the regular season at 4-8 and 3-3 against the CSAC. The Lions will be the fourth seed for the CSAC Tournament and travel to top seed Stockton on Saturday, April 27 at 7 p.m.
