Men's tennis falls to Penn College 7-2

BRYN ATHYN, Pa. – Amit Padmanabhan had a hand in scoring both of the Bryn Athyn College men's tennis' points in the Lions' 7-2 North Eastern Athletic Conference (NEAC) loss to visiting Penn College Saturday afternoon on the Gladish Tennis Courts.

Padmanabhan teamed up with Drew Heller to outlast Penn College's top double team of Luke Whitenight and Blake Whitmire, 9-7. Padmanabhan and Heller improved to 4-2 as a tandem this season.

In singles action, Padmanbhan moved to 5-2 in the No. 1 flight after he knocked off Whitenight 6-3, 6-1.

Bryn Athyn travels to the College of Saint Elizabeth for a NEAC match on Saturday, April 15 at noon.
