Brock tabbed CSAC men's tennis player of the week

ROSEMONT, Pa. – Bryn Athyn College sophomore Zach Brock was selected as the Colonial States Athletic Conference men's tennis player of the week Tuesday.

Brock—the first-ever Bryn Athyn men's tennis player to earn a conference weekly award—had a strong week for the Lions posting a 2-1 singles record and Nos. 2 and 3 and teaming up with Jacob Elder to go a perfect 3-0 at Nos. 1 and 2 doubles.

He was 2-0 as a singles player against CSAC competition, picking up a 6-1, 6-0 win at No. 3 singles at Keystone and a 6-2, 6-2 triumph while playing at No. 2 against Rosemont. In doubles action, Brock alongside Elder were 8-4 winners at Delaware Valley, 8-6 victors at Keystone, and at No. 1 doubles 8-3 winners over Rosemont.

This season, Brock is 2-2 in singles play, 1-1 at No. 2 and 1-1 at No. 3 and 3-1 as a doubles player.

Bryn Athyn (2-2) takes on Eastern in a non-conference match on Tuesday, March 26 at 3:30 p.m.
