Bracey and Ciarrccelli Earns Second Team All NEAC Conference Awards

GANSEVOORT, N.Y. - The North Eastern Athletic Conference (NEAC) has announced its 2016-17 Women’s Lacrosse All-Conference selections with 36 student-athletes receiving honors on the first, second and third team. Five individuals were also honored by the NEAC with annual awards that are selected in a vote by the conference coaches.

Two Lions earned women’s Lacrosse All-Conference selections, Hannah Bracey and Gianna Ciarccrelli.

Coach Roessler expressed, “I am thrilled to have Hannah Bracey And Gianna Ciarrccelli represented on the all conference  team for the NEAC.  Our conference is super competitive and for the coaches to have recognized Hannah and Gianna for all conference speaks volumes about their presence on the field this season.  Our team and staff appreciate all their hard work to have earned this honor.”

Bracey was named Second Team All Conference at Attack. She finished the season leading the Lions with 47 goals, 27 assists and 40 draw controls. She’s ranked 3rd in the NEAC.  She had a shooting percentage of 66.2, which ranked her 5th in the conference.

Ciarccrelli was named Second Team All Conference at Defense. She played and started in all 13 games for the Lions. She led the Lions with 30 ground balls and she caused 17 turnovers in conference, which ranked her 9th
