Women's Lacrosse Power Past Bryn Mawr

Game Highlights:

How It Happened:

Bryn Athyn College had a solid start, paced by Hannah Bracey, who scored four of the Lion's eight goals in the first half. After her second goal and the team's fourth, Bracey not only contributed in scoring, but also assisted Laura Clymer for a goal to take a 5-0 lead. The Lions would hold Bryn Mawr College to only one shot which was saved by goalkeeper Emily Fedor, while sitting on top, 8-0, at intermission. 

In the second half,  the Lions added four more goals while also playing keep away from the Owls. The Owls scored their first goal of the game with 1:21 left to play on a free position shot, but it would not be enough as time expired to crown the Lions for the 12-1 victory. 

Lions Top Performers:

* Bracey led the Lions offense with game high five goals while adding two assists and draw controls.

* Sabrina Colbridge had three Clymer had two goals. 

Brenna Sweeney and Michelle Bedford each added a goal to finalize the Lions scoring.

Owls Top Performers:  

* Kendall Derber scored Owl's only goal of the game.

* Katie Alpert minded the net the entire game and made 10 saves in the effort.


Women's Lacrosse begins their North Eastern Athletic Conference schedule on Sunday, April 2nd, Lancaster Bible College at 2:00 p.m.
