BRYN ATHYN, Pa. – Bryn Athyn College women's lacrosse head coach Denise Roessler is taking her knowledge and experience to the world stage as an assistant coach for the German National Team during the Women's Lacrosse World Cup in England.
She joined the German National Team as an assistant coach in the fall of 2016.
Roessler will be going into her fourth season as the head coach of the Lions in 2018. During her first three seasons at the helm, Bryn Athyn has gone 14-21. The Lions had their first winning season in program history last season, finishing the season at 7-6.
The Women's Lacrosse World Cup runs from July 12 through July 22. Germany will face Japan on July 13, Mexico on July 14, Spain on July 15, and Lativa on July 17 in Pool D play. The knockout phase of the World Cup begins on July 18.
