Complete 2019 Bryn Athyn College Women's Soccer Schedule

BRYN ATHYN, Pa. – The Bryn Athyn College women's soccer team will open its 2019 season with a short trip to Penn State Abington on Friday, August 30. The 14-match campaign, which features six home matches and eight away matches, was announced by head coach Bill O'Neill Thursday.

Bryn Athyn opens the season with five non-conference matches to prepare for the nine-match Colonial States Athletic Conference (CSAC) slate.

After the season-opener at Abington, Bryn Athyn heads across the state to begin the month of September with showdowns against Juniata and Penn State Altoona on Sept. 6 and Sept. 7. Juniata and Penn State Altoona are both making their first appearance on the Bryn Athyn schedule.

The Lions will play their first home game of the 2019 season on Sept. 10 when Bryn Athyn kicks off a four-match homestand against Brooklyn, who is on the Lions' schedule for the first time. The team's final tune-up before the start of CSAC play comes on Sept. 21 against Gwynedd Mercy.

Bryn Athyn squares off against the College of Saint Elizabeth on General Ronald K. Nelson Field to start CSAC play on Sept. 27. It will be the first time the teams have met since they were together in the North Eastern Athletic Conference in 2017.

The last of the four consecutive home games is slated for Oct. 3 against Cedar Crest to open Charter Day Weekend.

With the longest straight of home games behind the Lions, Bryn Athyn is back on the road for three games in a seven-day stretch. The first road test is on Oct. 5 at Clarks Summit and is followed by games at Keystone on Oct. 9 and Cairn on Oct. 11.

The Lions get eight days off before returning to General Nelson Field to face Rosemont on Oct. 19. Bryn Athyn's final home game of the regular season is on Oct. 24 against Notre Dame (Md.).

Bryn Athyn concludes the regular season on the road to take on Wilson on Oct. 26 and defending CSAC champion Centenary (N.J.) on Oct. 31.

The CSAC Tournament is being held on Nov. 4 (first round), Nov. 6 (semifinals), and Nov. 9 (final).

Bryn Athyn finished the 2018 season with a 5-8-2 overall record and qualified for the CSAC Tournament in its first season in the league by going 3-4-1.
