WILMINGTON, Del. – The Bryn Athyn College men's golf finished in 13th place at the 2019 Widener Spring Invitational Monday afternoon at the par-71 DuPont Country Club.
Tim Browne led Bryn Athyn, who posted a team score of 385 (+101), by shooting an 87 (+16) to come in 32nd in the 64-player field. Cody Smith carded a 91 (+20) to end his day in a tie for 41st place. Julion Lever was in a four-player deadlock for 50th after finishing his round with a 98 (+27). Isaac Anderson was Bryn Athyn's final scorer as he had a round of 109 (+38) to end up in a 61st-place tie.
Alec Grollman completed the Lion lineup with the 64th-place score of 126 (+55).
Rutgers-Camden won the team competition by shooting 308 (+24). Cairn University's Ryan Bormann was the individual championship thanks to a round of 74 (+3).
Bryn Athyn returns to action this weekend at the Rosemont Raven Invitational on April 13-14.
