Fast Five: Lions to host Wilkes in Junge Pavilion Saturday night

BRYN ATHYN, Pa. – The Bryn Athyn College men's ice hockey (4-16-0) welcomes Wilkes (14-5-1) to Junge Pavilion for a Saturday night showdown.

  1. The Lions snapped a 0-for-24 on the power play in a big way in last weekend's series against SUNY Canton, going 5-for-13 against the Kangaroos. Bryn Athyn still leads Division III with 125 power play opportunities and is 67th with a 13.6 conversion rate. Alec Grollman paces the Lions with four power-play goals.
  2. Devon Becker is sitting 14th in Division III for points per game by a defenseman and 15th for points per game by a defenseman with 0.84. Becker is coming off of a three-point game against SUNY Canton on Jan. 26.
  3. Jimmy Pollock is currently on a three-game point streak. Tanner Schroeder has recorded a point in four of the last five games, while Tanner Congdon has a point in three of the last four. Schroeder and Congdon both had at least a point in both games against SUNY Canton.
  4. The Lions are a perfect 3-0-0 when scoring at least four goals in a game.
  5. Bryn Athyn and Wilkes, a first-year program, are meeting for the second time season. In the first meeting between the teams, Wilkes earned a 4-2 victory on Dec. 19, 2018 in Wilkes-Barre.
