Women's soccer defeated by CSAC opponent Cedar Crest
 

BRYN ATHYN, Pa. – The Bryn Athyn College women's soccer team suffered a 6-0 Colonial States Athletic Conference (CSAC) loss to visiting Cedar Crest on a rainy Thursday night on General Ronald K. Nelson Field.

Madison VanKirk got the Falcons (5-4-1, 1-0-0 CSAC) on the board 26 seconds into the contest after getting a long pass from Kimberly Rosano.

Then, Adrianna Tennis took over as she scored three goals in a 20-minute span to widen the gap to 4-0 at the 26:40 mark of the opening half.

In the second half, Cedar Crest was awarded two penalty kicks just 1:02 apart. Kaitlyn Kozdron converted both PKs to make the score 6-0 with 33:29 left.

Lion keeper Allie Warren stopped nine shots, while the Falcons' Lauren Makely made four saves.

Bryn Athyn (2-4-1, 1-1-0 CSAC) heads to Clarks Summit for a CSAC match on Saturday, Oct. 5 at 1 p.m.
