BRYN ATHYN, Pa. – The Bryn Athyn College women's soccer team played to a 1-1 draw in Saturday afternoon's Colonial States Athletic Conference (CSAC) showdown with Rosemont on General Ronald K. Nelson Field.
Tori Titano broke the scoreless deadlock when she scored her third goal of the season at the 26:13 mark to get the Lions (3-5-3, 2-2-2 CSAC) on the board. Breen played Titano free from her defender with a pass from the right wing. Titano collected the ball and fired a low shot passed a frozen Emma Lindsay.
After taking the 1-0 lead into halftime, Bryn Athyn would on the defensive in the second half as Rosemont (5-7-1, 2-3-1 CSAC) would outshoot the Lions 14-5. The Lions held the Ravens at bay until the 85:08 mark when Maciana Mazzeo—on her 12th shot attempt of the game—found the back of the net with a high from just outside the left side of the penalty area that went into the upper right corner.
Rosemont's Emily Johnston and Bryn Athyn's Bosler each put a shot on target in the first overtime session but were each stopped. In the second overtime, Ashley Rivera had the lone shot on goal, which was corralled by Lindsay—the last of her five saves.
Warren ended the contest with 10 saves, tying a season high. Seven of Warren's saves came in the second half.
