BRYN ATHYN, Pa. – The Bryn Athyn College women's volleyball team will be holding its annual Dig Pink Game on Thursday, Oct. 11 when the Lions host Colonial States Athletic Conference opponent Cairn University in Asplundh Field House.
Leading up to the contest, the team will be selling silicone breast cancer awareness bracelets and collecting donations for the Side-Out Foundation—an organization that supports the development of treatments that are giving stage IV breast cancer patients more quality time with their families and getting them closer to the day we find a cure. The Lions will also be accepting donations for the Foundation online at https://giving.side-out.org/campaigns/14028#/.
On game day, the team will be selling pink breast cancer awareness t-shirts for $10, any remaining breast cancer awareness bracelets, and be setting up a concession stand. All proceeds for the t-shirt, bracelet, and concession stand sales will go to the Side-Out Foundation. The Lions will be wearing special pink jerseys for the match.
