ROSEMONT, Pa. – Bryn Athyn College freshman libero Chloe Levan has been selected as the Colonial States Athletic Conference women's volleyball defensive player of the week on Monday.
Levan is the first Bryn Athyn women's volleyball player to earn weekly recognition from a conference office.
In two road CSAC victories last week, Levan racked up 37 digs, averaging 5.29 digs per set. Levan totaled a career- and match-high 27 digs in the Lions' four-set victory over Rosemont on Oct. 4. She recorded 10 digs in a sweep of Centenary (N.J.) on Oct. 6.
She also had 10 service aces, eight coming in the win at Centenary.
This season, Levan is ranked third in the CSAC with 4.26 digs per set and ninth with 145 digs.
Bryn Athyn (7-8, 3-1 CSAC) hosts Cairn University in a CSAC matchup on Thursday, Oct. 11 at 7 p.m. in Asplundh Field House. The Lions will hold Dig Pink Night benefitting the Side-Out Foundation.
