ROSEMONT, Pa. – Bryn Athyn College senior Natalie Daum is the first women's cross country runner to earn a conference weekly award as she was named as the Colonial States Athletic Conference runner of the week by the conference office Monday.
Daum had another strong week for the Lions, being Bryn Athyn's first finisher in both races the teams competed in last week. She opened the week with a fourth-place finish after posting a personal-best 4-kilometer time of 18 minutes, 36.9 seconds in the Bryn Athyn 4K on Sept. 5. In the Philadelphia Metropolitan Championship on Sept. 8, Daum had the 45th-place time of 23:24.6 in the 5-kilometer race. She was 11th among Division III runners in the Metro.
Daum has been Bryn Athyn's top runner in each of the first three races of the season.
Bryn Athyn returns to action at the Cedar Crest Open on Friday, Sept. 14 at 5:30 p.m. on the campus of Cedar Crest College.
