Cheyanne Asplundh became the third head coach in the Bryn Athyn College field hockey program in June 2022. She takes over for former Head Coach Heather Schauder.
Asplundh was announced to Coach Heather Schauder's coaching staff in August 2021. She is local to the community and a graduate of Academy of the New Church. Asplundh was a 2014 graduate of ANC. She went onto play at Connecticut College. During her career with the Camels, Asplundh appeared in 53 games with 19 starts. She registered six goals, four assists, and tallied 16 points in her career. She graduated in 2018 with a degree in Art. She was named tp the the National Field Hockey Coaches Association (NFHCA) National Academic Squad in 2016 and 2017. After graduation, Asplundh returned to the area to coach at Mount Saint Joseph Academy. Asplundh also has completed the USA Field Hockey Umpire clinic.
"I'm very excited to get back into coaching field hockey. I am looking forward to working with Coach Schauder, coaching staff, and the team. I am honored I get to be apart of Bryn Athyn College field hockey program," Asplundh said.
