Box Score Bryn Athyn, Pa. – The Bryn Athyn College men's soccer team fell 4-0 to Briarcliffe College in Friday afternoon action.
The Lions held off Briarcliffe for the first 20 minutes of the game until they netted their first goal of the afternoon. BC kept on their attack and would net another goal 16 minutes later to help them take a 2-0 lead.
Bryn Athyn had a scoring chance, off a cross to Blake McCurdy, who headed the ball right to the goalkeeper's hands.
Going into the half, BC didn't let down with their offensive pressure. They scored a goal three minutes in, to take a commanding 3-0 lead.
Bryn Athyn countered with a shots on goal, but the dense Braircliffe defense kept the attack at bay.
BC would score one more goal before regulation time was over to win the game 4-0.
Dustin Synnestvedt made 12 saves in goal for the lions.
Bryn Athyn returns to the field on Tuesday to play PSU-Berks. The game is set for 4:00 pm.
