Newark, New Jersey- The Bryn Athyn Lions fell today to Berkeley College of New Jersey 5-0.

The Lions were unlucky in the first half as their stout defense failed to reflect itself in the score, as Berkeley scored off an own goal, rebound, a debatable penalty call and a well struckfree kick from just outside the box.  

The Lions generated more offense in the second half, with Dan Cook and Blake McCurdy drawing good saves from the Berkeley keeper. Berkeley added one more goal in the second.  

The Lions next game is on Friday at home against Penn State York. The game is set for 4:00pm.
