Bryn Athyn, PA- The Bryn Athyn Lions fell today, 5-0 against Penn College in Thursday afternoon action. 

A rough opening half overshadowed what was overall a strong Bryn Athyn performance, as four goals in the first proved to be too much to handle for the Lions. Greg Synnestvedt had a remarkable game at defensive mid, winning balls away from attackers and generating moves up the field. 

In the second half the Lions were much more successful and shots from Blake McCurdy and Slava Tikhonov tested the Penn College keeper. David Hyam also performed well, and was unlucky not to finish off a breakaway chance as the keeper reached the ball a split second before him.  

The Lions next game is at Briarcliffe on October 5th. The game is slated for 12:00pm.
