Box Score Bryn Athyn, Pa. – The Bryn Athyn College men's soccer team fell at home against Christendom College 5-2 in Saturday afternoon action.
Usufu Johnson and Joel Borketey-Kwaku scored a goal each for the Lions.
The Crusaders got on the board first at the 10 minute mark to take the lead. The Lions tied the game at 26:36, Johnson scored off a pass from David Camera from inside the 18 yard line to the right side of the net. Christendom would go into the break with the lead, scoring at the 34:47 mark.
Christendom kept on the offensive pressure, building a two goal lead at the 60:52 mark. The Lions answered a minute later, Borketey-Kwaku scored from outside the 18 yard line beating the goalie top crossbar left. The Crusaders would score two more goals to secure their 5-2 win.
Johnny Walker made nine saves in net for the Lions.
The Lions will return to the field next Sunday to play Berkeley of NJ at 1:00 pm.
