Men's Soccer Falls to Berkeley College of NJ

Bryn Athyn, Pa. – The Bryn Athyn College men's soccer team fell to Berkeley College of NJ 9-1 in non-conference action Sunday afternoon.

The Knights scored first, five minutes into the game to take the quick lead. Bryn Athyn fought back to tie the game at 1-1, after drawing a penalty kick in the penalty box. Goal was scored by Siafa Dempster.  Berkeley would keep the offensive pressure and score four goals in the first half to take a commanding 5-1 lead. 

Berkeley didn't let down in the second, scoring four unanswered goals to win the match 9-1.

Johnny Walker made seven saves in net for the Lion in the first 75 minutes. Ryan Weinkopff made one save for the remainder of the game.

Bryn Athyn heads on the road this Tuesday to start their conference stretch against Lancaster Bible College. The game is slated for 2:30 pm.
