Box Score Chambersburg, PA – The men's soccer team lost 3-0 today to Wilson in NEAC action, the game was the first of two for this weekend's road trip.
The first half was scoreless with each team generating 6 shots a piece. The Lions goalkeeper Ryan Weinkopf made 2 saves in the first half. Then only 2 minutes into the second half, the Phoenix got goal from Justin Teague. After that it seemed the Lions struggled to get take control of the play, and saw the Phoenix add two more goals by Aaron Russ in the 56th and 63rd minute.
The Phoenix outshot the Lions 13 to 9 in the second half.
The game ended with the Phoenix blanking the Lions 3-0 on the first day of this weekend's road trip. The Lions are back in action tomorrow as they travel to play their third conference game against Gallaudet at 5 pm.
The Lions move to 4-4 on the season and 0-2 in the NEAC.
