Box Score

BRYN ATHYN, Pa. --   The Bryn Athyn College men's soccer team suffered a 3-1 non-conference loss to visiting Immaculata Wednesday night on General Ronald K. Nelson Field.

The Mighty Macs' Alex Noel struck twice in the opening 22 minutes to give Immaculata a 2-0 lead at the half.

Noel opened the scoring at the 18:41 mark when he redirected a Ben Gialloreto free kick taken from the left side of the penalty area inside the left post. Just over three minutes later, he capped off a strong individual effort by Mark Staudenmayer for the second goal. Staudenmayer dribbled around multiple Lion defenders and then passed the ball off to Noel at the 18. Noel banked his shot off the right post and into the goal.

Alex Potter extended the lead to three as he slotted home a Mohamed Kamara centering pass into the upper right corner at 52:25.

Bryn Athyn's David Camara (Man, Ivory Coast/Roxborough) broke up the shutout with his fourth goal of the year with 34:54 left in the match. Martin Dempster () found Camara in the box with a pass from the end line on the right side of the Immaculata net. Camara chipped the ball over keeper Mikey Kalpokas into the upper left corner.

Edgar Rodriguez (Levittown, Pa./Harry S. Truman) had an opportunity to draw the Lions (2-2-0) within one on a free kick from 25 yards away at 60:14. Rodriguez lifted the free-kick over the wall but was denied by a diving save at the left post by Kalpokas, one of his five saves.

Quentin Hager (Baltimore, Md./Sparrows Point) stopped four saves in the Bryn Athyn net.
