Men's soccer tripped up at Immaculata

IMMACULATA, Pa. – The Bryn Athyn College men's soccer team was upended by host Immaculata, 5-0, in a non-conference game on a damp Monday evening.

Immaculata (2-3-0) opened the scoring at 14:05 when Nick Boule took advantage of a Bryn Athyn (0-4-0) turnover in the Lions' defensive third. Just about three minutes later, Stehpen Bradley made it 2-0 when he found the back of the net from 35 yards away.

The game remained 2-0 until the 48:20 on Boule's second goal of the day on an Alex Noel Cross. Mark Staudenmayer scored the Mighty Macs' fourth goal at the 79:46 mark. Boule wrapped up the scoring by completing his hat trick with a breakaway goal with 3:51 left in the contest.

Bryn Athyn goalkeeper Shane McCurdy stopped eight shots in the setback.

The Lions return home to face Penn State Lehigh Valley in a non-conference contest on Thursday, Sept. 13 at 8 p.m.
