Lions fall to visiting Keystone

BRYN ATHYN, Pa. – The Bryn Athyn College field hockey team suffered a 10-0 Colonial States Athletic Conference (CSAC) loss to Keystone College Friday night on General Ronald K. Nelson.

Goalkeeper Kailey Brower recorded 14 saves for Bryn Athyn—her second-highest save total of the season. She was briefly lifted from the game with 5:42 left in the second quarter and returned to play the entire second half. Alisha Parnell played out the remainder of the second quarter and stopped the only shot on goal she faced.

Katherine Halle tied the program record for defensive saves in a game with four, while Eve Miller added a defensive save of her own.

Savanna Robinson led the Keystone (9-5, 4-0 CSAC) with an eight-point effort, recording three goals and two assists. April Llewellyn scored three times in the first half and Taylor Cercone had a three-goal third quarter.

Heaven Houck was responsible for the game's first goal, 5:58 into the contest on a penalty stroke.

The Giants' Megan Novak recorded one save.

Bryn Athyn (1-11, 0-5 CSAC) heads to Drew University for a non-conference tilt on Wednesday, Oct. 30 at 7 p.m.
