DOYLESTOWN, Pa. – The Bryn Athyn College field hockey team was defeated by host Delaware Valley University, 7-0, in a non-conference contest Friday afternoon.

Delaware Valley (2-2) led 2-0 after the opening quarter with goals by Jess Dixon 2:16 into the contest and TJ Smith eight minutes later.  The Aggies added four more goals in the second quarter to widen the gap to 6-0 at the break. Madi Colon scored the first of her two goals to begin the quarter and was followed up by a Gillian Nardielli goal. Smith completed her hat trick with back-to-back goals.

Colon completed the scoring with her second goal of the day 1:42 into the third quarter.

Kailey Brower made four saves for Bryn Athyn.

Bryn Athyn (0-3) is back on General Ronald K. Nelson Field Sunday, Sept. 15 at noon to take on Sweet Briar College.
