BRYN ATHYN, Pa. - Bryn Athyn Men's soccer needed a win and a Wilson loss or tie to secure their first playoff berth in program history. The Lions controlled what they could control with a 2-0 win over Valley Forge and the Wilson result was favorable for the Lions.

- Delgado found Romano 27 seconds into the game with a cross left to right and Romano toe poked it into the net from the six to give the Lions an early lead
- The Lions pounded the Patriots with the attack, but the Patriots held strong and went into half down 1-0.
- The Lions continued their onslaught firing off 17 shots in the second half with several near goals and post shots
- Owen Ovecka finally cracked the net again with 10 seconds left in the game giving the Lions a 2-0 win and a clinched playoff berth

- The Lions are one win away from tying the single season program record for wins
- This was the last game at General Nelson Field for the Lions, they finished with a 5-4 record at the "Hill". This is the first time in program history with above .500 record at home

The Lions will be the #5 seed in the CSAC Soccer Playoffs. They will travel to Saint Elizabeth on Saturday October 30. The game time is to be determined.
