- Marco Grenda scored the first two goals of the game at the 15 and 19 minute mark of the first half off crosses from teammates Jerry Bardol and Aidan O'Malley and Tommy Mollis
- 8 minutes later, Marco Grenda returned the favor to Aidan O'Malley off a cross that O'Malley headed into the net to make the score 3-0.
- The 3-0 score would hold for the half.
