Women's Basketball blows out Keystone

LA PLUME, Pa. - The Bryn Athyn College women's basketball team dominated in their match against Keystone College on Tuesday, January 3rd, 65-47.

Inside the Box Score  

  • Sophomore, Reilly Ward leads the offense with 14 points. 
  • Freshman, Emily Driver tossed up 12 points and managed to snag 4 rebounds as well.  
  • Graduate Student, Alisha Mcknight also put up double digits with 12 points and shot 100% from the 3-point arch.  
  • Senior, Kaylia Duncan commanded the defensive front with 10 rebounds while tagging on 8 points and 2 steals. 

How It Happened  

  • In the first quarter, Bryn Athyn trailed slightly behind Keystone.  
  • The Lions managed to tie the game up with 5:47 on the clock, but quickly fell behind within the minute.  
  • At the end of the first quarter, the score was 19-14, Keystone.  
  • In the second quarter, the Lions came out hungry and tied the game with 8:29 on the clock.  
  • With some perseverance, they gained the lead and led at half with a score of 33-31. 
  • Bryn Athyn let the game slip away in the third quarter with 8:18 on the clock, but then they immediately snatched it back two minutes later.  
  • The Lions led at the end of the third quarter with a score of 51-44. 
  • Bryn Athyn stayed dialed in during the fourth quarter and managed to keep the lead the entire time. Outscoring Keystone, 14-3.  
  • The Lions won the game with a final score of 65-47.

  • Bryn Athyn shot 61.9% from the free throw line. 
  • The Lions held their opponent to 34% from the field and 29.6% from the 3-point arch. 
  • The Lions recorded a season high of 58 rebounds in one game.  
  • Bryn Athyn improves to 5-4 and Keystone falls to 4-7.
