ROSEMONT, Pa. -  Bryn Athyn Women's Soccer team faced off against the Rosemont Ravens on Wednesday. The Ravens secured a conference win, shutting out the Lions 2-0.The Lions dropped to 3-5-1.

How It Happened: 

• The Lions headed into battle fresh off a tie game eager for a road win. 
• Both teams showed relentless defense which resulted in a slow start.
• The first goal of the day for Rosemont came at the 15 minute mark.  
• At halftime; Rosemont led 1-0. 
• Ravens freshman Erin McLaughlin knocked in a deep penalty kick in the 60th minute of the game. 
• Rosemont end game with 2-0 win. 

Notes

• Bryn Athyn attempted more shots than Rosemont 18-13
• Bryn Athyn led the way in corner kicks 6-2.
