Women's soccer pick up criticalconference win

BRYN ATHYN, Pa. - Women's soccer entered Tuesday's match hungry to get a critical conference win and bombared the visiting Cairn Highlanders early with three first half goals to win the game 3-0.

  • They were rewarded in a flurry of goals that got kicked off by Kira Bradley who helped the Lions on the board at 17 minute mark to build the lead to 1-0
  • Three minutes later, Senior captain, Shea Gormley, scored her first goal of the season off the pass from her cousin Maria Storck
  • The Lions kept the pressure on picking up their third goal in ten minutes after Bradley found the back of the net again off the pass from Squares
  • Bryn Athyn headed into half with a 3-0 lead
  • The Lions played more conservative in the second half
  • Cairn led the in shots in the second half by a 9-4 advantage
  • Cairn threatened the Lions with a few chances, but Chloe Munyon snuffed out any opportunities the Highlanders managed to generate
