Inside the Box Score. 
  • Juliana Stichter led the Lady Lions with 11 points to go with 3 rebounds as a spark off the bench.  
  • Alexa Osafo-Mensah added another double-double to her resume with 10 points, 15 rebounds to go along with 5 blocks.
  • Zhymani Smith added 10 points , 7 rebounds, and 5 assists. 
  • Xion Spence grabbed double digit rebounds again leading all lions with 11 for the afternoon. 
How it Happened
  • Bryn Athyn roared out to a 14-2 start with forced turnovers and transition layups. 
  • The home team was able to covert free-throws and a layup to end the quarter down 16-6.
  • In the 2nd quarter; Bryn Athyn went a bit cold shooting just 10% from the field on their way to 7 points.
  • At half time the visitor Lions held a 23-12 lead. 
  • Both team appeared to wake up in the 3rd as they traded buckets throughout the quarter. 
  • Action intensified in the 4th as Juliana Stichter scored 5 straight points to open up the quarter. 
  • PSU would respond with own series of jump shots and made free-throws.
  • In the end; the lead was too heavy to overcome as Bryn Athyn went on to win 54-42
Coaches Corner
  • "This game came down to toughness and grit on the road in our third game of the week. The way we are defending and rebounding the basketball right now is just outstanding. A lot like Wednesday, we needed an offensive spark in the second half, and Juliana Stichter answered the bell in a huge way, going three for three beyond the arc en route to an 11 point half. We got a big boost from our front court today as well, Alexa Osafo-Mensah posted her second double-double of the week, Xion Spence continued to crush it on the boards, and Sierra Georges and Britney Fils gave us some key production as well. It's really challenging when we have these three game weeks, and getting all three into the win column was a real team effort, with so many people stepping up. We look forward to seeing everyone back at home Tuesday night for Tacky Sweater Night, and of course don't forget to being a new, unopened toy for our annual Toys for Tots drive!"   • Women's Basketball hosts FDU-Florham on Tuesday, December 10 at 7pm at Asplundh Field House for their annual UGLY SWEATER sweater night and toy drive. Spectators are encouagred to wear an ugly sweater and donate a toy to children in need.
