- Both teams came out early with scoring chances
- Pitt Greensburg broke through with their first goal at the 18 minute mark
- Lions attemped to return a goal, but failed to do so before the Bobcats struck again at the 30th minute to make the score 2-0
- Lions would trail at halftime 2-0
- Things would go from bad to worse for the Lions at the beginning of the second half when the Lions registered an own goal to help Pitt take a 3-0 lead
- The visitors would add one more goal in the 71st minute to register 4 unanswered goals
- Scarpiello ensured the Lions would not be shutout with a slotted shot off the pass from Storck'
- Lions would fall 4-1
