Coach's Corner

"We have two weeks left to play in the regular season and we got this important stretch of games off to a good start with a road win tonight. Zhymani Smith really came out and raised her own bar once again, just phenomenal numbers and another special night for her. Our defense set the tone from the jump, and from there it was balance up and down the roster. Everyone who played got into the scoring column, and one thing that also really made a difference was our group effort on the boards, Alexa nine rebounds, Britney eight rebounds, Sierra and Xion seven apiece, Amber had six. Everyone hit the boards tonight, which is one of our biggest strengths. We get to come back home on Saturday, so we are looking forward to a packed field house for the double-header." -Coach Travis Ponton
