Bryn Athyn College

Hannah Hausen joined the Bryn Athyn Women’s Basketball coaching staff as an Assistant Coach in October, 2021. Hausen grew up right here in the Huntingdon Valley, and brings yet another local perspective to the mix.

Hausen graduated from Hampshire College in May, 2021, and was a member of the women’s basketball team there. Her leadership through her senior season that was voided by the COVID-19 pandemic was not only commended, but provided her with a perfect bridge to continue her basketball journey as an assistant coach.

Off the court, Hausen has a huge interest in the theater world, and is building a strong resume as a creative writer.

Coach Ponton on Hausen: “When I met Coach Hannah this fall, I knew right away that she is the type of person that we want to have around our basketball program. A recent student-athlete herself, she can relate to young people immediately, and her outlook and willingness to learn and contribute to the team right away has been a joy. I look forward to sharing this season and experience with her, and am grateful she has joined us for the ride.”
