Fredrick, MD. – The Bryn Athyn College women's volleyball team fell to Hood College 3-1 in Saturday morning in the Hood College Tri-Match.

The scores were, 25-19, 21-25, 25-12, 25-20.

Kaitlyn Brock led the Lions with 13 kills and season high 18 digs.  McKenna Acton notched six kills. Kara Cowley put up five kills and two service aces. Brooke Blair had a season high 19 assists and six kills. Cree Gurney had 13 digs and four service aces.

The Lions were trailing in the second game 8-15. Bryn Athyn rallied and took a 21-19 lead.  Coach Petersmeyer took a timeout and took the game 25-21 with six unanswered points.

Bryn Athyn will face Washington College next at 2:00pm.
