Reading, Pa.- The Bryn Athyn College women's volleyball team fell  to Alvernia 3-0 in Thursday night action. The game scores were 25-10, 25-18, and 25-19. 

Kaitlyn Brock led the Lions with 12 kills, seven digs, and two service aces. Cathleen Curran registered 19 digs, while Kinu Butler recorded four kills. Cree Gurney dished out 20 assists and Beth Tough added three kills. 

Coach Petersmeyer expressed, "The team played their best volleyball of the entire season tonight. The score might not reflect it, but each and every player stepped up their game!" 

Tough stated, "I'm really proud of my teammates. We played a great game tonight and our defense was really solid. Heading into this weekend's tri-match we hope to pick up our offense." 

The Lions return to the court Saturday, September 29th to host Staten Island and Christendom in their home tri-match.  The games are set for 11:00am and 3:00pm.
