Brock stated, "Tonight's game came down to energy! We had to mix up our hitting and commit to each point, which we did to come back and win our first 5 set match! I loved the team effort and enthusiasm for those last fifteen points. Woot woot!"

Coach Kozar expressed, "The Lions had a great win tonight. We as a team broke through several barriers. Not only did we win our first five set match, but we won our first single game away from our home court. The girls fought hard through all five sets. We adjusted throughout the game and came out victorious. All eleven players from the bench, to the Libero, to the setter, to our hitters, all played their roles on and off the court. The girls showed extreme teamwork and persistence which led to our VICTORY!"

The Lions return to the court Saturday, October 5th to face Trinity Washington. The game is slated for 7:00pm.
