Bryn Athyn, Pa. - The Bryn Athyn College women's volleyball teams picked up a 3-0 home win on the new court against Arcadia University. The scores were, 25-12, 25-23, 25-21.

The Lions where led by Junior Kaitlyn Brock with 12 kills, nine digs and three service aces. Senior Cree Gurney added 10 kills, and 10 digs. Cathleen Curran led the backline with 10 digs.

Haley Schmucker put up 26 assits, six digs and three kills. 

Coach Kozar expressed, " The lions broke in our new gym floor today with a defying win against a good team. The ladies played good defense and smart volleyball. Go lions!"

Curran said, "We started off slow, but the camaraderie on the court picked up fiercely and we played the only way we know how, with intensity and energy, which has led us to an 8 game win streak!"

The Lions will head on the road to face PSU-Brandywine on Oct 15th. The match is set for 7:00 pm.

Bryn Athyn will have their annual Charter Day Alumni game on Oct 17th at 8:30 pm. The game will take place after the Gwynedd Mercy match at 7:00 pm.
