Box Score Bryn Athyn, Pa. – The Bryn Athyn College men's lacrosse team fell to Cazenovia 16-10 in NEAC conference action Saturday afternoon.
Andrew Coyle led the Lions with three goals. Connor Buick and Ryan Landels scored two goals each. Travis McCurdy, Quintin Harrish and Marlon Forrest put in one goal apiece. McCurdy led the defense with six ground ball pick ups.
Forrest scored first for the Lions at 10:58 of the first quarter. The Wildcats answered with three goals to take a early 3-1 lead. Landels scored at the 5:37 mark to bring the Lions within one. Cazenovia would score three goals with 4:30 left in the quarter to take a 6-3 lead in the first.
The Wildcats started the second quarter scoring two goals at 11:05 and 6:04. Bryn Athyn would score their lone goal of the quarter at 4:35 by Coyle from Buick.
Cazenovia took control of the game in the third quarter, out scoring the Lions 6-2. Bryn Athyn goals from Buick and Coyle at 7:03 and 6:36.
Bryn Athyn outscored the Wildcats in the fourth quarter, 4-2. But it wasn't enough to chip away at the Cazenovia lead and lost the game 16-10.
Robert Moran made 12 saves in net for the Lions.
