Morrisville, NY- The Bryn Athyn Lions traveled to Morrisville for pool play in the NEAC. The Lions lost to Morrisville 3-1 in the first match and SUNY Poly in the second match.

The Lions went into conference play with a 5-4 record, but were not able to get their first conference victory losing to Morrisville 3-1 (23-25, 24-26, 25-23, 26-28). As you can tell by the scores the Lions battled in each game against Morrisville , but won the third game in a thriller. The Lions were led by Taylor Davis with 18 kills and Alexa Kennedy with 13 kills. On the defensive side the Lions battled with the all-out efforts of Kelsey Kowalick with 11 digs and Jenii Bauer with 10 digs.

In the second match of pool play, the Lions lost their second conference match to SUNY Poly 3-1 ( 17-25, 17-25, 25- 23, 16-25).  The Lions continued to get great play out of Taylor Davis with 12 kills and Alexa Woods with 5 kills and 9 digs.

The Lions will be back in action on Sunday 9/20 out at Morrisville State as they take on Cobleskill in the last match of pool play.
